The success of "The Man Who" seemed impossible to expand upon, but when it came time to develop a follow-up, Travis' natural composure became their greatest asset. Returning to the studio with "The Man Who"'s co-producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, Paul McCartney), they created a near-perfect 45-minute album that was praised by Q Magazine for being some of the "best and most complete" songs of their career. Lead single "Sing" remains their highest charting single in the UK (#3), while follow-ups "Side" and "Flowers In The Window" led the band to solidify their indie-pop formula and to match the #1 position of its predecessor in the UK, while Travis entered the Top 40 & Top 10 in Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Italy and Norway.
